Minette’s sire is Apache’s Accoyo Haydn, a fawn full Accoyo champion sire. Haydn is one of those elite full Accoyo males that you count your lucky stars to come across. His Accoyo genetics exemplify the herd of the most famous breeder int he world, Don Julio Barreda. With his exceptional fleece characteristics and lovely conformation, Haydn provide himself in the show ring with multiple blue ribbons and championships. Haydn’s awards include: Color Champion at 2010 CABO, Reserve Color Champion at 2010 IAA Heartland Classic, Color Champion at 2011 MOPACA, Reserve Color Champion at Indian Invitational 2011, and others. His herdsire is NGG Accoyo Apache II and his dam is Accoyo Princess Liberty, both champion alpacas.

Minette’s dam is Heaven’s Cent, a full Peruvian Macgyver daughter and champion. Heaven’s Cent’s dam was CHFA Lila, a light fawn full Peruvian. Her sire, DDF Peruvian Macyver was a dark brown full Peruvian. There will never be another alpaca like Macgyver. His genetics changed the quality of suri alpacas throughout the United States and his offspring became the standard of what could be hoped for in the show ring. Macgyver produced more suri champions than any other alpaca and his legend lives on in his descendants. His sons and daughters have the genetic potential to produce another legacy.  At the 2003 AAA Futurity, Macgyver’s offspring placed in 20 classes making him the 2003 Herdsire of the Year. In 2004, his offspring placed in even more classes than the previous year. He again became the Herdsire Of the Year for the second time. He did it again in 2005, making history as no alpaca herdsire had ever won three times. Macgyver went on to win seven years running. No other alpaca in history has exceeded his record.
