Qiviut became a color champion at 6 months old. He has an exceptional show record. Qiviut has a beautiful fleece, conformation, and wonderful temperament. He is a Macgyver grandson, a Sniper son, and his dam was a color champion also. Qivuit is an enthusiastic herdsire with one on the ground (Waasigan, who promises to be another champion) and has set four more for 2017.

Qiviut’s dam Accoyo America Bellwether is the daughter of AOBA National Champions, Accoyo America Cochise and Accoyo America Belafonte. A daughter of 2 National champions, Belwether also became a champion at the International Alpaca Odyssey. She placed 1st and then won Reserve Color Champion under 3 judges and international Bonita show rules.

Qiviut’s sire is Sierra Bonita’s Peruvian Sniper, a true black full Peruvian. In 2008, Sniper wowed the judges with his presence, locks, and luster. Sniper not only won the National color championship, but it was his 17th championship at AOBA sanctioned shows. Sniper made history with the most halter championships for an Alpaca under the age of 2. Like his sire, Sniper has already produced many champions and continues to produce top show quality offspring making their mark on the suri industry.
